Demian Mukansi

Demian Mukansi is a PhD student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal specializing in hydrological engineering. His research focuses on how climate and land-use changes impact the design of hydrological infrastructure.

He holds an MSc in Agricultural Engineering cum laude from UKZN, where his work centered on post-harvest storage systems. Beyond academia, Demian is passionate about youth advocacy which he advances through his role as a National Executive Committee member of the South African Youth Council.
